Danida is the official
agency for overseas development assistance of the Royal Danish Government,
which strives to alleviate poverty through interventions focussed on natural
resources and the environment. Through Danida, Denmark has provided
environmental assistance through its environment facility to five countries
in South-East Asia, including Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. The Directory of
Important Bird Areas in Cambodia is a key output of the project entitled
Improved Conservation Planning through Institutional Strengthening in
Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, funding for which has been generously provided
by the Royal Danish Embassy. |
